1 QT Black Tire Paint
$15.95 shipping applies to the Continental United States ONLY.
Best way to make your tires look like new. Permanent water-based paint applies easily and dries quickly. Won't rub off, even when wet. Gives dull, faded tires a non-glossy, like-new finish.
Our black tire paint is more like a stain with the same flat black finish as a new tire. It soaks into the rubber. A little bit goes a long way. A quart will cover 4 or more rear tractor tires.
It does not cover large cracks but will camouflage fine weather cracks a little, as the tire rotates, the cracks open & close, these will be visible after application. It will cover white walls 99% of the time (it may take a couple of coats.)
Recommend a sponge brush to apply paint but it can be ragged on or sprayed on. Store paint carefully as it will freeze like other paint. Tires need to be free of any silicone based tire shines or polishes before applying paint.

running board paint
Your tire paint made the running boards on my 1940 Oldsmobile look great . I would give it five stars if I knew how long it will last . If it lasts, please sell it to me in 55gal drums
and I will repackage it as "running board paint". -
Great Product To Cover Whitewall Tires
I used this product to blackout the whitewall stripes on a set of new tires for my 1932 Ford street rod. Worked perfectly. Just like the Tire Black I used in the 1960's. Only took one coat but, used two to just be sure.Great

Blacking out White Wall on Vintage Tire
It took me a while hunting around on the Web to find the product I was looking for! I had gotten a great price on two vintage white wall tires for my Model A Ford! First, I was just going to turn in the White wall, but then, it just looked hoaky! I found this product, on the Web, I then wrote to m. e. Miller and was told that they fill a lot of orders for this product for the purpose of blacking out White Walls. I bought it, put one coat on with a brush, it covered fairly well, I waited a half hour and brushed on another coat and it dries level and perfect! These two tires have now been mounted on the car and look great! Great Product!

Absolutely Magic!
Applied "Black Tire" on a set of BF Goodrich Silvertown 2 1/2" Wide Front & 3" Wide Rear Whitewalls. I was sick of cleaning the whitewalls after 2 months so I had the whitewalls turned to the inside. You could still see the wide whites from different angles underneath the truck, so I applied "Black Tire". AMAZING!!! I was super skeptical at first, but after applying 1 week ago, they look amazing - like original black wall tires! I applied with a small wash cloth towel (wear rubber gloves, it will seep through). Dabbed the paint on the whites 7 let dry for about 30 minutes.....applied a second coat, then dabbed the spots I missed or that where thin. Don't worry if it goes on a little thick or runs a bit, it will dry PERFECT!!!!! So far so good but the real test is over time. By the way 1 quart will last me at least 10 times of application - a little goes a long way!!! Extremely happy!!

excellent
what I liked best was-
-it was available in brush on cans
-it was reasonably priced
-it works
-the finish when dry does not look like a tire with paint on it. rather it looks like new rubber.
great stuff. -
Excellent coverage
I used this to black out the whitewalls on my 32 Ford. I cleaned the tires very well, let dry in the sun and painted on with a pad painter. It was totally dry in about 10 minutes and I went over them again to cover some lighter spots I had left. 30 minutes later the tires were back on the car and we were going down the road. 80 miles so far and no chipping or cracking. I would highly recommend this tire paint.

Works!
It does what it claims. Paint goes on very well. thinner than I expected but great coverage. one bottle is plenty to do a set of tires for a Farmall M. Made tires look new again.
